| THE 1840s PLAZA The 1840s Plaza is available for parties, wedding receptions, meetings, and conferences. Visitors are welcomed by landscaped courtyard gardens, ideal for cocktail receptions or outdoor wedding ceremonies. The first, second and third floor consists of unique banquet space and the fourth floor Ballroom features incredible 8-foot tall windows that offer sweeping panoramic views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor and surrounding area, providing a stunning backdrop for any celebration or special event. You can book any or all of the Inn for groups as small as 50 up to 1,200.
The 1840s Ballroom can accommodate 230 seated or 350 for cocktail receptions. With elegant chandeliers, custom velvet draperies, a mahogany and stained glass English Pub bar and hand-painted murals of historic Baltimore, the 1840s Ballroom is a registered authentic Baltimore venue. 1840s BALLROOM RENTAL RATES
1840s CABERET (1st floor - accommodates up to 110 seated; 230 standing)
The 1840s Caberet features a fun and exciting Latin-inspired décor. The event space was originally designed for a tango club and restaurant and now offers a perfect reception venue for dining and dancing. the Caberet level can accommodate 110 seated and 230 for a cocktail reception. With convenient entrance from the 1840s Plaza courtyard, outdoor facilities for seating and cocktails can be reserved as well.
1840s CITY LITES (2nd floor - accommodates up to 150 seated; 250 standing)
The second floor of the Building, 1840s City Lites, is an exciting new venue for meetings and parties. City Lites boasts a fun lounge-like atmosphere complete with overstuffed couches and the historic White Tower Diner, a centerpiece attraction when the building housed the Baltimore City Life Museums. This unique setting is ideal for cocktail parties, networking events, fundraisers, bar and bat mitzvahs, and other corporate and private events. City Lites can accommodate up to 150 guests seated and 250 for cocktail receptions.

The 1840s Carroll Salon, with spacious layout featuring hardwood floors and a large built-in bar, provides an ideal location for indoor wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours in conjunction with wedding receptions taking place in the fourth floor 1840s Ballroom. This space can also be arranged to accommodate corporate meetings and private function groups. The Carroll Salon can accommodate up to 150 guests seated and up to 250 for cocktail receptions.
